The Resort
The One &
Only Cape Town resort features fascinating accommodations for any number of
travellers, from the small to the large families. From the Marina Rise Suites
and Rooms, to the rich and resplendent presidential suite, this resort has it
all. Each of the Marina Rise rooms – 91 in total, has its own private balcony
overlooking the almost regal Table Mountain, or the harbour. An oversized bath
and rain shower in each room round up the contemporary African themed Marina
Rise family. The crowning jewel in this resort, however, has to be The One:
penthouse, resting above the Marina Rise Suites. This 1300sqm area boasts 360
degree views of Cape Town, with four luxurious bedrooms, a study, living area,
dining hall and state of the art kitchen. There are two outdoor pools available
as well, for guests to enjoy sipping on wine while taking a dip. Apart from
these jewels, the One & Only Cape Town has an island, where 40 suites
reside. This was designed specifically for the guest looking to get away from
the hustle and bustle of the city. Each room has a balcony overlooking the calm
waters around the island.
The Others
Two main
restaurants crown this resort, Nobu and Reuben’s. Rueben Riffel, a popular chef
in South Africa, has opened his first urban restaurant here, featuring
contemporary South African cuisine to suit the traveller’s palate. Nobu is
primarily Japanese cuisine, for those seeking the Asian touch. There is also
Vista, a spot for drinks and food. The Cape Town One & Only Spa is another
incredible accessory to this resort, featuring a passion to allow guests to
relax in the forefront. Salon services are also available, for men and women.
